Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Easy and delicious! That’s all that needs to be said.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Pork Roast: 2 lbs, boneless
  • Cajun Seasoning: 1 tbsp
  • Butter: 1 tbsp
  • Medium Onion: 1, chopped
  • Garlic Cloves: 4, crushed
  • Vegetable Broth: 4 Cups
  • Liquid Smoke Flavoring: 1 tbsp
  • Favorite BBQ sauce: 1 Cup
  • Hamburger Buns: 6
  • Butter: to taste
DIRECTIONS:

Step 1) Slice the pork roast into large pieces and season well with Cajun spice.
Step 2) Melt butter in a large frying pan and add pork pieces, brown on all sides. Remove browned pork pieces from the frying pan and transfer into your slow cooker.
Step 3) Add the onion and garlic to the same frying pan and sauté until tender. Gently stir in the vegetable broth, scraping the bottom to loosen any residual pork bits, then transfer the entire mixture into your slow cooker with the pork. Add liquid smoke flavoring.
Step 4) Cover and cook on HIGH for 6 hours or until meat is falling apart when prodded.
Step 5) To serve, remove pieces of pork and pull apart with two forks to shred. Mix pulled pork with BBQ sauce in large bowl. Place shredded pork on buttered buns. Makes about 6 servings.
Step 6) Enjoy!!
