We offer a variety of packages for purchasing in bulk, anything from one large box to a full freezer worth of our Farm Fresh Beef. Below is an average of what you would be paying for and what you would be taking home.
Our pricing may vary when compared to other farms. We are in the business of producing premium AAA Beef and nothing less. What you pay here will be reflected in the quality and care of our beef, and the wonderful eating experience you are about to enjoy.
We base our pricing on the hanging weight of the animal. (The hanging weight is taken after the head, hide, feet and organs have been removed). Take home meat varies depending on the length of dry age. If your beef is cut at 14 days it will yield the most. If we continue to age up to 30 days, it will shrink ~8% each week. Quality increases as beef is aged longer. We like to age for 21 days, it is a happy medium. To touch on hanging weight a little more, for simplicity purposes this example we will use:
We- Average hanging weight: 750 - 950 lbs per beef, sometimes the beef are larger or smaller.
- Pricing: $6.95/lb * hanging weight for quarters, halves, and whole beef.
- Prices include cut & wrap fees.
- We age all our beef for 21 days, but if purchasing half or whole beef we can do more or less depending on your preference.
- Custom cutting is available on halves and whole beef. Standard cutting is available on Quarter Beef (our favorite cuts).
- For families that go through a lot of ground beef, please keep in mind you can add on a 20 lb or 50 lb Ground Beef Box to your order to hold you over.
HALF BEEF
- Total Price: $2600 - $3300. We take a non-refundable deposit of $1500 and then invoice you the balance. Balance is due prior to pick up or delivery.
- You choose your own cuts - but don't worry, we'll guide you through this process over the phone once your deposit is paid.
- For your freezer: 240 - 335 lbs (45 lbs steaks, 65 lbs roasts, 8 lbs stew meat, 8 lbs stirfry meat, 90 lbs ground, 20 lbs short ribs, 12 lbs brisket, etc) plus marrow bones and organ meats.
- 6 - 7 Large Boxes (12 cubic feet)
- Requires almost full of deep chest freezer (13.8 cubic feet)
- Approximately 240 - 300 meals for a family of 4 (1/4 lb servings per person).
- Retail value of $3600-$4000
- Pick-up is at our Barrhead butcher or delivery is available to your door for $200 in most towns in Alberta, click here to view delivery options.
WHOLE BEEF
- Total Price: $5200 - $6600. We take a non-refundable deposit of $3000 and then invoice you the balance. Balance is due prior to pick up or delivery.
- You choose your own cuts, don't worry, we'll guide you through this process over the phone once your deposit is paid.
- For your freezer: 525 - 660 lbs (95 lbs steaks, 150 lbs roasts, 10 lbs rouladen, 25 lbs stew meat, 10 lbs stirfry meat, 170 lbs ground, 25 lbs short ribs, 18 lbs brisket, etc) plus marrow bones and organ meats.)
- 12 - 13 Large Boxes (18 - 20 cubic feet)
- Requires full of deep chest freezer (18 cubic feet)
- Approximately 600 meals for a family of 4 (1/4 lb servings per person).
- Retail value of $6,300 - $8000

QUARTER BEEF
- Total Price: $1300 - $1650. We take a non-refundable deposit of $850 and then invoice you the balance. Balance is due prior to pick up or delivery.
- For your freezer: 140 - 170 lbs (25 lbs steaks, 45 lbs roasts, 8 lbs stew meat, 5 lbs stirfry meat, ~50 lbs ground, 15 lbs short ribs, and 10 lbs brisket) plus marrow bones and organ meats.
- 3.5 - 4 Large Boxes (6 - 7 cubic feet total)
- Requires most of a small chest freezer (7 cubic feet) or almost 1/2 of deep chest freezer (13.8 cubic feet)
- Approximately 155 meals for a family of 4 (1/4 lb servings per person).
- Retail value of $1650 - $2050
- Pick-up is at our Barrhead butcher or delivery is available to your door for $100 in most towns in Alberta, click here to view delivery options.
- The above amounts of what you would be taking home are an approximation and dependent upon how the beef is cut. For example, bone-in vs bone out cuts. And you can get more/fewer steaks, roasts, or ground by cutting the beef differently.
- Prices may decrease or increase depending on the size of the Beef. For example, this month's beef hanging weights were 850 lbs and 987 lbs.

WHEN TO ORDER
We butcher our grain finished beef every month, so just give me a shout to line up a time that works best for you! A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your meat, this deposit goes towards your final total which is due upon delivery/pickup.- Half Beef: $1500 deposit
- Whole Beef: $3000 deposit
- Quarter Beef: $850 deposit

Pick up at your convenience, either from our Barrhead butcher, or check our delivery options as we can likely ship to your door!
Shipping is refrigerated ensuring your beef stays frozen until it is delivered to your door. Shipping costs: $100 for a quarter beef, $100 for a half beef, and $120 for a whole beef. We can ship to most doors throughout Alberta: all around Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Whitecourt, and more.
