FIND OUT WHY OUR BONE BROTH SHOULD BE A PART OF YOUR DAILY DIET - Free Recipes Below!
The thing about health is most of us live our lives without symptoms that so many struggle with. The general food we have been consuming for the past 20 or 30 years is produced to "fill" you and not "nourish" you. Why is this? --- It's cost effective. Is this fair? --- That's the business world for you. It comes down to $$$. What are you going to do about it? --- Educate your self. If you're reading this, good job! You're in the right place. Over the last couple of years, I've had many customers come to our farm who suffer from food allergies, are on diets such as AIP, Paleo or suffer from Celiac disease or even leaky gut syndrome. Many times their health conditions are severe, and choosing food that works with their body is crucial. After talking to these people on the phone, through email, and in person, I hear their stories, their struggles and I learn about their pain. Due to the current food system that contains high sugar and gluten in nearly everything we consume, our gut lining can become irritated. In severe cases, our gut lining can wear thin, allowing small food particles into our bloodstream. Food particles present where they're not supposed to be, causes our immune system to trigger an inflammatory response. It can occur in young children all the way up to the elderly. If your child suffers from eczema, behavior issues, rashes, diarrhea or constipation, you may want to look further into the benefits of QULAITY bone broth to repair and nourish your gut lining. This is the first step.USE BONE BROTH TO REPAIR & NOURISH:
CONSISTENCY
Consume 1-2 cups of bone broth per day; consistency is key here. You can drink it in the raw (like warm tea), in soups, in rice or however you like. Just get it in you on a daily basis. At first I thought this would be tricky, but then I learned to replace water with our Bone Broth. - Sauces, Crock Pot Dishes, Soups, Stews, Stir-Fries, Rice etc.STORE BOUGHT OR HOMEMADE
There is an enormous difference between the boxed or powdered broth that line our grocery store isles, and our pasture raised Bone Broth. Collagen is what you’re after when sourcing Bone Broth and that can only be found through the low and slow cooking process, preferably from bones/ligaments, etc. of grass-fed animals.SAVE MONEY
Bone broth is an affordable alternative to supplements and pills. Our bodies can only absorb so much isolated nutrients (supplements/pills) at a time. Getting required nutrition from food is a much easier way for your body to use it efficiently.HOW TO MAKE YOUR BONE BROTH:
TIPS TO ENSURE YOUR BONE BROTH WILL HEAL & NOURISHSOURCING YOUR BONES
Source directly off a farm. Not only will this be affordable and more nutritious, but this way you can get to know your farmer and their farming practices/beliefs. Just like purchasing quality ground beef or pork chops, you want to find well-raised animals for making your broth. BEEF:- Marrow bones
- Beef oxtail
- Whole carcass after eating the meat
- Neck & skin (left over after cooking & eating)
COOKING METHOD
Your cooking method comes down to personal preference. I love using my slow cooker because I can set it and not have to worry about monitoring my stove. I like my cheap Walmart slow cooker because it doesn’t get too hot, unlike my bigger one. I also love using my Instapot (similar to a pressure cooker) which allows me to make my broth in just a few hours but still keeps the nutrtition. Choose whichever method works best for you!GETTING YOUR BONE BROTH TO GEL
The perfect bone broth will become gelatinous once cooled. If this doesn’t happen the first few times, that’s okay; you will still get loads of nutrition and health benefits from broth that didn’t gel. It took me a few times to figure it out ;)HOW TO MAKE YOUR BONE BROTH:
